Introduction<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hi! I\u2019m YiFan Sun (\u9038\u51e1 \u5b59), born in Suzhou, China in 2004. I’m a third-year Chemistry undergraduate student at Beijing Normal University, and also an undergraduate teaching assistant for the course ‘Bilingual Organic Chemistry’.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Research Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m currently working under Prof. Qingzheng Yang<\/a> at Beijing Normal University, developing novel photosensitizers and exploring their applications in photodynamic therapy. In the 2024 Summer, I got the chance to work with Prof. Kin Zhao<\/a> at University of the Pacific, contributing to the development of novel platinum-based anticancer drugs. This 2025 Summer, I had the opportunity to go to Prof. Mingjiang Zhong<\/a>‘s lab at Yale University and contribute to the research about stereocontrolled radical polymerization enabled by supramolecular interaction design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
